The Ultimate R.I.O.T. (Ridiculous, Interesting, Outstanding and Terrific) was a high intensity, fast-paced competition which involved hundreds of young people divided into four different teams. Youth from Teen Life and Kids Life (a division of Bill Rudge Ministries) participated in exciting competition and challenging contests such as an obstacle course, chariot race, refrigerator box relay, giant pushball, tug of war, indoor snowball fight (stacks of newspapers rolled up into paper snowballs). This Ultimate R.I.O.T. was held in April 1988 at Hickory High School gymnasium.
