Virtually everyone has said at one time or another, “If only I could live my life over, I would do things differently.” While the past cannot be erased, life is full of new opportunities. New beginnings, forgiveness, love, peace, joy and hope are what Christianity is all about!
Through Christ, we can do all things and accomplish what we never dreamed possible. If we consistently, persistently, insistently and incessantly believe and refuse to give up we will do the impossible.
Mark 9:23 states, “All things are possible to him who believes.” Psalm 27:1 says that when “the Lord is the strength of my life” there is nothing and no one of which we need to be afraid. First John 4:4 assures us that “we have overcome them because greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.”
Second Corinthians 2:14 says, “God always causes us to triumph in Christ.” Romans 8:35 and 37 state, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
As you study Scripture and pray, God’s Spirit will fill your heart and mind with the goals and dreams He has for you this year and until He comes. Dare to believe Him for the impossible. Courageously stand strong in the midst of life’s challenges and obstacles.
The Lord Jesus will be with you no matter what you face for He promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). We can confidently say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6).
God will fulfill the good work He began in you and carry it on to completion until that day when Christ Jesus comes back again (Philippians 1:6). He is faithful and will surely accomplish His purpose in and through you.
